Covid-19 speech

Introduction

Hi there my name is Caleb and I’m here to tell you in this speech information about Covid-19 and its impact on New Zealand.

Argument 1

Covid-19 originated from Wuhan China in the Hubei province.people believe that within this area, the Huanan or in English south china seafood wholesale market was to blame. They were selling bats, fish, baby crocodiles,Pangolins, and more. The first case emerged in early December 2019 but covid-19 was identified in early January 2020.

Argument 2

People who went to this market in December and onward got covid-19 from interaction with these wild animals ,and seafood. These people then passed it onto other people which spread to other countries, and then the whole world. There are multiple ways to get covid-19,....but here are the main ways. Sneezing, coughing, respiratory droplets, and close contact with infected people. There is also multiple symptoms you can get from covid-19 here are the main symptoms, and serious symptoms.fever, dry cough, tiredness, and the serious symptoms.difficulty breathing, chest pain, and loss of speech and movement. It can take two weeks for covid-19 to show and The people who are at most risk is old people ranging from 60,to over 100 also people with health problems.

Argument 3

Covid-19 has affected all of New Zealand, the health systems, jobs, and moreCovid-19 has affected health systems by making employees work more And making doctors, and nurses, set up covid-19 testing places all around New Zealand but at least they get a raise. But probably the most affected are New Zealanders jobs, people have lost their jobs, and are struggling to get money since they can't work in most places. It is predicted that 67,000 people have lost their jobs across new zealand.

Argument 4

New Zealand has an alert system which consists of four levels. 1 meaning prepare,2 meaning reduce,3 meaning restrict, and 4 meaning lock down. At midnight 26 of march it was pronounced that there was going to be a four week lockdown.People in NZ had to stay in their bubble.everything was changed to suit this like going to work, shopping, school and more.Around when the lockdown was going to end it was pronounced that there would be even more weeks added on.. and this added up to 7 or 8 weeks altogether. which was more than the christmas holidays. The cases in New Zealand are 1,154 confirmed,1,131, recovered and,22 deaths so far

And around the world 6.8 million confirmed cases,393 thousand deaths, and recovered is unknown.

Conclusion

I hope this speech was informative and gave you a little bit more information about covid-19 And its impact on New Zealand.
